We are the exclusive provider of AMPS education and training, offering individuals the opportunity to become certified in administering AMPS observations. Our comprehensive AMPS course has been developed by expert occupational therapists and includes a rater calibration workshop, as well as a one-year subscription to a secure, cloud-based application with mobile capabilities.

Why should I choose the AMPS?

The AMPS is a standardized observational assessment developed by occupational therapists to evaluate the quality of a client’s performance of Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Unlike many evaluations that emphasize body functions or environmental factors, the AMPS focuses directly on the quality of task performance in meaningful, real-world contexts. A suitable candidate for this course falls into one of the following three categories:
  • a practicing occupational therapist,
  • a former certified AMPS 'legacy' member who wants to recalibrate and use the cloud-based application with mobile capabilities, or
  • a current occupational therapy 3rd year student from an accredited university.

  • Format: 100% Online - Asynchronous
  • Access Period: 2 months from registration
  • Course Fee: $899 USD but there is an Early Bird Discount. If you register before June 1, 2026 you will get 20% off the course fee, applied automatically to your cart at checkout. This comes to the discounted price of: $720 USD (before taxes).
